A guide on how to install the RISC-V GNU Toolchain

Overview

This guide is meant for students using ARM (AArch64) machines, mainly Apple Silicon Macs with M-series chips (M1 and up).

Caveats

As ARM PCs (non-Apple) are not common and we have no hardware to test with, we are unfortunately not able to provide a setup guide for potential users. But you are welcome to setup an office hour with a TA/USTF to help with potential issues.
